The Formentor Room is all about luxury, greeting quests with walls adorned in rich navy velvet outlined by wood molding and marine charts of the Mediterranean coast and stunning custom light fixtures.

Serving as the pre-event cocktail reception or gathering space, The Bar on our second floor features a series of dramatic hand painted ceramic tile murals, or azulejos, by master artisan Xavier Claur of Valencia.

Let us bring the Del Mar experience to the District Wharf’s stunning indoor/outdoor waterside venues, including the Dockmaster Building and the District Pier.

The two-story Dockmaster Building offers panoramic views of Washington Channel, located at the end of the 450-foot District Pier. The first-floor Conference Room offers direct access to a waterfront overlook, while the second-floor Dockmaster Room has a wrap-around balcony and canopy overhang in addition to floor-to-ceiling windows.

The District Pier is one of The Wharf’s central outdoor gathering places, playing host to exciting regional festivals, international celebrations, and whimsical holiday happenings. You can reserve the entire pier—8,000 square feet of rentable outdoor space with a capacity of 800 standing—or only a portion of it for private events of all kinds.

The finest Jamón Ibérico hand carved to perfection according to authentic Spanish tradition.

Del Mar is honored to offer the services of a master jamon carver, who uses centuries old techniques that are prized in Spain and rarely found in the U.S, to add a one-of-a kind Spanish touch to any event. The carver will hand-slice jamón in front of your guests, providing live food theater as well as an elegant presentation.
